was inspired by
Douglas Gordon’s.
"24 Hour Psycho” (1993) which slowed Alfred Hitchcock’s film “Psycho”
to run 24 hours.
"19 Hour Plan 9" is not intended as kitsch artifact but as an evolving landscape of light, shadow, and cinematic texture that is also sometimes hilarious.Joe Wilson’s work has explored diverse media - including performance art, photography, installation art, playwriting, mural painting, filmmaking and mixed media. After residing in Los Angeles for twenty-two years, Wilson relocated to Albany, NY in 2019 where he makes art while battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
